We know first hand the incredible work that the ISPCA provide to animals in need. Over four and a half years ago we began our journey with the ISPCA when we adopted our beloved Kaya. Kaya was found in a state of sheer neglect by my husband Donal whilst working as a member of An Garda Siochana. Kaya was tied up with a pinch collar so tight around her neck that she could not move her head and bolt cutters had to be used to remove it. Upon removal her neck was completely black and stiff. When taken to the ISPCA she was under veterinary care for sometime as she was filthy, covered in fleas, ticks and infested with worms. Kaya also had severe kidney issues from which she nearly died and required her to be put on a drip for five days and thankfully Kaya survived and that is why we are here today to fundraise for all of the other animals who need love, support and rehabilitation. Kaya along with her sister Skye love their daily walks, lying by the fire and of course lots of TLC. We really would appreciate any donations to this very worthy cause, Kaya has added so much to our lives and is truly a loyal, loving companion all down to getting a second chance.
