I have been with Casey since 2017. I support Casey within the classroom so she has full access to the curriculum. I also help look after her medical and toileting needs, and aid her with outside school activities, like school trips. She is a smart, funny, creative girl who loves Lilo and Stich. She enjoys having chats about her dog Levi and her family. Casey never lets the restrictions caused by EB define her and is always willing to try anything! EB is a very severe and life threatening illness and one which I was never aware of until I met Casey. As I work with Casey daily and speak to her Mam regularly I see on a daily basis how Casey suffers with severe blistering, pain and discomfort which she deals with without complaint.
