Thank you for taking the time to visit our memorial page for Desmond (Des) Hurley.

On the 14th of December 2023 due to a tragic accident at sea we lost our amazing Son, Brother and friend Desmond Hurley.

Des would have been turning 30 on the 26th of July and we hope to remember and celebrate him as best we can.

Some of his family and close friends will climb Carrauntoohill on his birthday, Friday the 26th and then celebrate his birthday and remember his amazing life on Saturday the 27th in the Huntsman, Belgooly.

We will donate all funds to help some organisations that have helped us since Desmond's untimely death.

Lost At Sea Tragedies (LAST) and

Kinsale Maritime Parade.

Remember, It's a short run!

Joey, Des' nephew and godchild will fundraise for the RNLI at a later date.
