Donegal Firefighters Association, is thrilled to announce their participation in a significant event. On September 9th, Firefighters from Ireland and the New York City Fire Department will embark on a memorable journey, cycling from the American Embassy in Dublin to the 9/11 Garden of Remembrance in Kinsale, Co. Cork. This three-day event, organised in conjunction with the FDNY charity Friends of Firefighters, Inc., will commemorate the 23rd anniversary of 9/11.
The cyclists will pass through Wicklow, Wexford, and Waterford, aiming to raise funds for Friends of Firefighters, Inc. and Aoibheann's Pink Tie, supporting firefighters and children with cancer. The event begins with a ceremony at the American Ambassador’s Residence on September 8th, highlighting the mission's importance and the strong ties between Irish and American firefighters.
The Donegal Firefighters Association is proudly fielding a team of seven, and we are needing your donations, these donations will help contribute to the charities. The DFA urges supporters to donate and show solidarity with the firefighting community.
Well done Eugene
Best of luck to everyone involved in this fundraiser. From everyone @ ECC Timber Products
