I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (blood cancer) in November 2022. Following treatment and a stem cell transplant in September 2023 I am in remission and doing well but the condition remains incurable.  Multiple Myeloma Ireland is a voluntary organisation and do everything they can to help patients, and their support network, to get a better understanding of their disease, and to ensure all patients get access to the best possible information, support, care and treatment.  I would like to give a little back and am taking part in Miles for Myeloma during September which is blood cancer awareness month. My colleagues in Dolphin House, friends and family will walk every day with me in September whilst wearing our Multiple Myeloma shirts to raise funds and raise awareness about the disease.
