Myself and my daughter, Emma, are taking part in the Run to 40 Challenge, in the 2024 Dublin City Marathon, so that everyone with skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wing can access life-changing services and supports now and so Debra can invest in EB research that can transform lives.
 
There are approximately 1,000 people in Ireland affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), an extremely painful and incurable skin condition. Of these, 300 live every day with skin that blisters and tears at the slightest touch, like a butterfly’s wing.
