I'm taking part in Hike to 40km for Breakthrough in August 2024

Our world was turned upside down in April 2024 when Stephen, my husband was diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer (GIST). This cancer will not respond to Chemo or Radiotherapy so Stephen was started on a Targeted Therapy with good response already.

Thanks to Worldwide Research Organisations, including Breakthrough Cancer Research, who are working together to develop new cancer treatments, people like Stephen with poor prognosis cancers are now given a better quality of life & a more positive outcome.

I strongly believe that Research is the key to survival & this is why I've chosen to fundraise for Breakthrough Cancer Research . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
