Hi everyone, Millie Tierney here. As many of you will know, we lost my lovely Pappy Michael Tierney last September. Pappy was a great marathon runner and I myself have followed in his footsteps by taking up running this year. I'm not quite ready for a marathon yet (maybe in a few years) but this year I have decided to run the VHI Mini Marathon in memory of Pappy. I am hoping to raise funds for the Irish Hospice Foundation who do incredible work and who provided Pappy with the best of the best care in his final weeks. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as every euro makes a difference and goes directly to Hospice care and facilities.
