I'm taking part in Frances Thornton Memorial Galway Bay Swim 2024 in aid of Cancer Care West. The swim will start in Clare and end at Blackrock tower in Salthill. A total distance of 13km!

The Thornton family have done trojan work in creating an amazing legacy for Frances over the past 17 years. The swim has raised over €1 million for cancer care west and I hope with my fundraising I can get them even closer to crossing that milestone. 

Frances was a gem of a woman and a great constant friendly face at all the galas over the years. I personally want to cross the bay for her and all those suffering and have been impacted by cancer. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
