It is with a heavy heart, that we regret to inform you of the passing of Edward (Ned) Naughton, one of our longest serving volunteers and dear friend to the Centre.

Ned and his wife Marian are familiar faces to almost everyone who has passed through our doors.

His idea of a quiet retirement was whipping our garden into shape and construction jobs! There was never a task too big or too small that he didn’t face with good humour.

He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, willingness to turn his hand to anything that was asked of him and his warmth and kindness. Ned made the world a richer place and his loss will be keenly felt by all those who had the good fortune to know him.

Ned embodied the very best of the Centre and thankfully he leaves behind an indelible mark on us and our Centre ❤️
