Register for the 2024 Great Western Greenway Cycle from Westport to Tiernaur in Co Mayo on Sunday, August 4 next.

This fun, family-friendly 50km leisure cycle is held annually in aid of Mayo Cancer Support, having been established over a decade ago by the late John Tiernan who was a former vice chairperson of the board of directors of Mayo Cancer Support Association.

The charity is honoured to continue this much-loved annual event in John’s memory as a fitting tribute to him and his great legacy in the local cancer support sector.

The 2024 cycle will take place on Sunday, August 4 next, with cyclists departing from Westport Leisure Centre (James St, Cahernamart, Westport, Co. Mayo, F28 FN32) at 10am. Registration costs €20 per person.

Refreshments will be served along the way at Nevin’s of Tiernaur.
