Special Olympics Ireland World Winter Games Fundraiser.

This is the world's largest sporting and humanitarian games and will see more than 1,500 athletes from 103 countries compete in 8 winter sports in an international demonstration of inclusion, acceptance, and unity. Special Olympics Ireland are sending a team of volunteers to support these games. These volunteers will play a crucial role in helping these games run successfully. 

As part of their journey to Turin volunteers will be raising much needed funds to both support travel costs but also to help raise funds for Special Olympics grassroot programmes. These sport, health and leadership programmes are delivered weekly to over 7000 athletes and are the foundation for helping grow and develop our athletes so they can realise their dreams and perhaps some day become a World Games Athlete.
