Sunday 30th March 2025 sees the Annual Step Up For Offaly Down Syndrome 5K take place in Lough Boora Parklands, County Offaly.
We’re thrilled to invite everyone in the community to lace
up their runners and Step Up for Offaly Down Syndrome Association! This 5K
event in the stunning Lough Boora Parklands is more than just a run—it’s a
chance to come together, support a fantastic cause, and enjoy a day of fitness
and fun.
Entry to the 5K is free, however if you would like to raise some money along the way, this is the place to do it. Just register yourself on this idonate page, and start raising funds for your 5k.
Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just
want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, this event is for you. Every step you
take helps raise vital funds for Offaly Down Syndrome Association, supporting
the incredible work they do for children and adults with Down Syndrome in our
community.
Down Syndrome Offaly advocates for the rights, inclusion, and well being of individuals with Down Syndrome. We are dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome, their families and the professional community, working towards an improved quality of life for our members along with a respect and acceptance of people with Down syndrome as valued members of society.
