Help me in raising vital funds for Barretstown, which as you know, has a special place in my heart.
We have attended camps here since our son was treated for a brain tumour in Jan 2023, and I can't speak highly enough of Barretstown.
We have several emergency services helping us in our challenge - to climb Carrauntoohill in full service kit, carrying a 6 meter ladder to the top, and making it the highest pitch in Ireland.
Some say that might be hard, but it's nothing in comparison to what the children who attend Barretstown are facing.
Barretstown offers a fun programme of challenging activities designed to help children deal with the trauma of serious illness. Hospitals take care of the physical effects of serious illness.
