Change the Story for vulnerable children this Christmas

Each Christmas, we ask companies and their staff to join us in supporting the vulnerable children and families Barnardos work with each day. No matter how big or small your company is, there is always a way you can help Change the Story for vulnerable children in Ireland today.

Whether it’s a once off donation, organising a staff fundraiser like a Christmas jumper day, running a festive 5km, your company can come together to create your own online fundraising page to donate what you can and to give vulnerable children a Christmas to remember.

To set up your group fundraising page just click the ‘Start Fundraising’ button now and enter the required details. You will receive an email from idonate with a link to activate your page, including login details for your fundraiser account. You will be able to give the gift of a happy Christmas to a child by selecting a Gift Donation Option and clicking on the 'Buy Gift' button below their chosen gift.

Everyone that donates will also have the option to upload their own personal happy memory of Christmas when they donate.

They will receive a personalised image of a snow globe containing their memory sent by email to share, along with the donation link, encouraging others to share happy memories and donate to Barnardos this Christmas.

All the shared happy memories will display on the group fundraising page in the 'Shared Memories' section.

Thanks to the generosity of people like you, Barnardos provided 25% more services to children and families last year and yet demand is still growing. That means that for a lot of families out there, things are getting worse instead of better, and there will be even more cold Christmases than last year.
