Host a Breakfast in 2025 for Childline!

Help us protect childhood by hosting a fundraising breakfast with your friends, colleagues, family—everyone can get involved! Gather your school, club, crèche, or company for this special day! Every child deserves a childhood, and together, we can make a difference.

Every day, children and teenagers reach out to Childline simply needing someone to listen. With your help, we can make sure we are there for those who need us

Hosting a Childline Breakfast is easy, fun, and a wonderful way to bring people together over fresh McCambridge bread, good conversation, and a chance to support children across Ireland that need us the most.

So, choose a day in May to host your Childline Breakfast!

How to get involved?

✨ Sign up – Click the button to register your organisation

✨ Fundraise your way – Ask each participant to bring a small donation, collect funds with our coin box,donate as an organisation or use our till barcodes for customer donations..

✨ Receive your pack – Your free event pack includes everything you need to host your Childline Breakfast, such as bunting, balloons, posters, stickers, a coin box, and a certificate of participation.

✨ Get your bread! – Our amazing sponsor, McCambridge’s Bread will deliver fresh and yummy bread straight to you. Just confirm your date, participant numbers, and address, and we’ll take care of the rest.

✨ Host your breakfast – Choose a day this May, set the scene, and enjoy a morning of delicious food and even better conversations.

Childline relies on donations to continue our support for children all over Ireland. A simple breakfast can make a real difference. Let’s come together this May!

Schools/Clubs/Crèches:
We know that talking makes a difference, and by hosting a Childline Breakfast, you can help the children in your care feel heard and remind them that Childline is always here - for any reason, at any time.

It’s easy to take part! Sign up, set up your fundraising page, and share it with staff or parents to support. You’ll receive your event pack filled with everything you need, plus a special delivery of fresh McCambridge bread. On the day, enjoy breakfast together and take the time to have a chat or take simply take bit of time out to enjoy some nice food and company.

Business:
Option 1: Host A Childline Breakfast At Your Workplace

Host a Childline Breakfast at your workplace and invite colleagues, customers, or partners to come together for a great cause. Ask participants to make a small donation during the event—maybe your company could even match what you raise to double the impact!

When you sign up, we’ll send you a fundraising breakfast pack with everything you need to get started.

Looking to add something extra? Why not host a Breakfast & Learn session? One of our qualified team members can join you to talk about Childline services and parenting supports, making the morning both meaningful and informative.

Option 2: Support Childline at Your Till

If you’re a retailer, you can support Childline by joining our till donation campaign. Give your customers the chance to make a difference by adding a €1 or €2 donation to their purchase.

We’ll provide a support pack with everything you need, including:

✔ Barcodes for easy donations

✔ Till wobblers & posters to raise awareness

✔ Fundraising materials to engage your customers

A small gesture at the till can make a big difference for children who need someone to listen.

Who are you supporting?
All funds raised from Childline Breakfast go directly to keeping Childline’s 24-hour listening service available for children who need someone to turn to.

In 2023, our team spent 1.1 million minutes on the phone with children and young people, offering support, comfort, and a safe space to share their worries. That’s the equivalent of 50 full days spent listening to children in crisis.

From family struggles and friendships to mental health and abuse, no issue is too big or too small - we are here, day and night, to help every child feel better, safer, and happier.
