Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie, I'm a Special Olympics Volunteer and am taking part in the Special Olympics Ireland World Winter Games Turin - Volunteer Programme. 

As part of this programme I will be traveling to the World Games to support over 1500 athletes. In the lead up to this programme I will be fundraising €3000 for Special Olympics Ireland. The goal of this fundraising is to not only cover the costs of supporting these inspiring athletes but also to help fund Special Olympics grassroot programmes in communities across Ireland. 

These Sport, Health and Leadership programmes are delivered weekly in over 200 clubs around Ireland to over 7000 athletes. These grassroot activities help athletes grow and develop so they can follow their dreams, whether that is becoming a world games athlete or helping to lead our society to be more inclusive and empowering for people with an intellectual disability.
