Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Canines on Campus event takes place on the ATU Sligo Campus, Knocknarea Arena, on Monday, 26 August 2024, which is also a National Dog Day. 🐾🐶🐾
Why support us
ATU invites you to join us and support this fundraiser for Leitrim Animal Welfare (LAW), a rescue whose mission is to save as many lives as possible, care for abandoned and stray dogs that have felt very little love from human beings, and help them find a long-term and loving home that they so richly deserve.
Two ways to participate:
1. Online Fundraiser: Please donate whatever you can and share this fundraiser with your friends and family, as every contribution makes a significant difference in the life of often abandoned, neglected, and mistreated animals.
2. On-Campus Dog Walk: Join us for a dog walk in ATU Sligo, Knocknarea Arena, on Monday, 26 August 2024, from 2-4 pm.
Please note that for the health and safety of everyone, the number of participants is limited.
Register for the on-campus walk here.
Secure your spot early to avoid disappointment!
If you can’t make it to the campus or feel that your dog might not be comfortable in such a setting, you can still support us by participating in our online fundraiser. Walk independently and donate whatever you can to support this animal rescue.
ATU wants to THANK YOU so much for all your help and support 👏

Such an amazing event and even greater cause :)
Best of luck to all involved, and well done for the brilliant initiative. I’d be there with my rescue dog, Mary, only for I’m on leave. We’ll be thinking of everyone while we walk.

Every dog deserves a chance at a happy life, and we are unwavering in our commitment to finding each o
